Ashish Shah, an accomplished filmmaker hailing from India, has made a name for himself in the world of documentary films and wildlife storytelling. With his profound passion for the craft and an impressive portfolio of award-winning documentaries, Ashish has become a respected figure in the industry.
Fueling his fascination with the filmmaking process, Ashish pursued a Master’s degree in Visual Effects from the renowned National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA) at Bournemouth University in the UK. Equipped with a strong technical foundation, he honed his skills while working with esteemed visual effects companies such as Axis Animations, Jellyfish Pictures, Prime Focus Films, and Base Black. Through his contributions to commercials, movies, and TV shows, Ashish garnered recognition for his quick thinking, adaptability, and innovative approach.
The industry’s acknowledgment of his talent led to an invitation from The Foundry to deliver lectures at the Visual Effects Society in London. Ashish also had the privilege of training visual effects artists in prominent studios like Rhythm & Hues (R&H), MPC, and DreamWorks, among others. His ability to share his knowledge and inspire fellow artists has further solidified his reputation as a skilled and influential filmmaker.
However, Ashish’s passion for wildlife and nature ultimately drew him towards the world of documentary filmmaking. Since then, he has devoted his energy and expertise to capturing the beauty and intricacies of the natural world through his lens. His commitment to highlighting environmental issues, conservation efforts, and the fascinating lives of wildlife has garnered critical acclaim and touched the hearts of audiences worldwide.
Currently, Ashish Shah is venturing into a new chapter of his career as he embarks on writing his first feature film. Set to begin production in September 2023, this highly anticipated project promises to be a remarkable addition to his already impressive body of work. As Ashish continues to push boundaries and explore new storytelling avenues.
